MY PREDICTION FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

By my prediction, in the next 5 years to a decade or two, we will have; among the top leaders of the time, a greater percentage of independent-minded, headstrong, aggressive, opinionated, self-centered, passive and utterly uncultured group of leaders running things. They will be scattered across the societal stratosphere; Politics, Economics, Religion, Education, Culture, Entertainment, you name it.

They will come from the Millennial generation! 99.9% of them, from the 1980s and above. The generation who hit the millennium at Teenage just around where we lost value for anything valuable.

They will come from this age when Education is termed as a "Voyage for the Fainthearted" and where the only sensible gospel is that "The Hustle Must Pay". These future leaders will be those who feel "Who Respect Epp" and those who believe that "30B for the account" is the only way my love for you makes sense. In a decade or two, our grandkids will learn that its best to just "Try" and that "Certificate is worthless". They will have no allegiances, no loyalties, no good or strong affiliations, we will live in a time where switching preferences will be as quick as batting an eyelid. They will major in the minor and minor in the major. Money will replace blood or filial connections, you are as related as how much you can give.

Leadership and Followership alongside Mentorship would have tombstones overgrown with weeds by then because we have learnt how to believe only in ourselves and a tree could make a forest if only the tree "believes" and say "Yes I Can"! Learning anything would be a "Waste" because you only need smartness not knowledge. Those seeking knowledge will become the stupid dumb ones and wisdom will be applied best to crooked means.

Let's leave the matter of hard work because that would have been outlawed! By then, it would be the "Any which way" pattern of work. You don't need to do it well, just do it anyhow! That would be a plug and play generation who don't fancy the nitty grittys of process, just a "simple Yes or No".

In 20 years, moral decadence would be rife because we did something as small as remove History and Moral Instruction from our curriculum and families wont have the "time" to train their kids on whats wrong or right. There will be more single marriages and broken homes because the tell tale signs we see now are not strong enough to raise an alarm. People will divorce because they feel like it or they are supposedly just tired. There will be no struggle to keep relationships because "If E No Be Your Own, E No Be Your Own"

We will loose originality because its simpler to just copy. New Ideas will be sought after because the generation of tommorow will be too lazy to think. We may see more criminals than businessmen basically because it seems easier to commit crime than to market your business even to the right market and let's face it, criminals today get more praised than honest businessmen.

This is not a doomsday report, there are signs everywhere, let's stop it now!
